Growing up surrounded by vineyards made it easy for Carl to learn about grape farming and winemaking. After completing a BS and MS in business, a BFA in studio arts and then sitting for the Court of Master Sommelier exams, Carl began working as a sommelier in San Francisco, currently at Chris Cosentino’s Incanto.
