Kristin Neidlinger aka Slim Avocado is an experience designer and inventor of sensory media. She aspires to craft phenomenal technology to enhance and expand physical embodiment. Kristin is a classically trained ballerina, costume designer, and has a background in physical therapies as a Dance Medicine Specialist. All these fields combined with her MFA entitled, “Sensorium Design” from the Interactive Design department at CCA, 2010. Currently, she works with a team of artists and engineers at SENSOREE – an art tech design lab creating therapeutic bio.media, body architecture, sensitive technology, interactive installations, and robot clothes. Her work has been presented by tech conferences, galleries, and fashion shows – on the runway at CES, on stage at NASA, and are currently on exhibit with Futurotextiles 3.
