Krissy Freeman
Krissy is a Lighting Designer, Light Board Programmer, and Stage Manager born and raised in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Currently working as a freelance designer and consultant, as well as a professional technician with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees – Local 919, Krissy’s passion for theater started when she was a child. She has been active in the Vermont theatrical scene for over 15 years. From graphic design to singing and acting, there are few things she has not done in the world of stagecraft.
No matter what production she’s working on, Krissy’s main goals are technical and artistic collaboration as well as education and community outreach. As co-chair of IATSE 919’s Education Committee, she is committed to continued learning and helping others reach an appreciation for all areas of theatrical art.
