OddDance  was founded in 2002 by Natalya Zhestovskaya and Grigory Glazunov. It is  nonverbal, physical theater, investigates and develops Butoh’s principles, unmasks the social world, immerses in memoirs, impressions, dreams, here and now gives rise to the idea embodied in the movement, creates the parable stated by dance language.

Holds regular seminars across Butoh and Animal style in different towns of Russia, Finland, Greece  and other countries.

For more than 20 years the OddDance has been melting the eastern experience of Butoh into a clear system of immersion and self-observation, developing students’ artistic potential, from animal instinct to art of mask, from concentration of attention to dissolution in the environment.
